HIV/AIDS Awareness Course for Welgevonden Security Staff

Li Lotriet, the security manager for Welgevonden, arranged with the local clinic in Vaalwater to assist in the training of HIV/AIDS awareness. Thato Mashile, an HIV/AIDS counsellor took on the task of educating the entire Fence and Scout department.

According to Li, there is no doubt that she has reached out to the staff who attended the course and educated them on aspects of HIV/AIDS, and especially the facts they face on a day to day basis.

The employees really enjoyed it, and now have a different outlook on their behaviour in terms of HIV and AIDS. From now on they should be more responsible for their actions. The course was in-depth and has given the employee's a good overview of the topic.
